    Dear American Comrades,

May I be informed, please, whether US F-40's have speedometers that record the velocity in smiles per hour and smileage covered? I ask this question as my car is a 1992 model and was UK supplied but the speedometer reads in kilometres as does the odometer.

    With kind regards,

    Dear Joe,

Thank you for your prompt response in confirming this.

It's clear that the speedomer for 'miles' was readily available but this notwithstanding Ferrari did not fit it to the Euro cars that were destined for the UK. And neither does the kilometric speedometer that they did fit have a secondary reading in smiles. A little naughty I feel.

    With kind regards,
