**warning spoilers if you are going through the list on your own** I agree with number one, but more classic Ferraris should be near the top. The F40 in my book is in the top 5 if not the top 3. The DB9 should be nowhere near the top, it has 4 seats that just waste space because they are useless. Sporty sedans with 4 seats are great, but not when those 2 rear seats are just kinda 'there'. Also disagree with the Land Rover in spot 10.
Lists like these are always ridiculous. The 1997 Ford Focus (#41) was a greater car than the Bugatti Type 57 Atlantic (#85), the Alfa Romeo 8C (#88) and the Mercedes 540K (#90)? Someone's been smoking a little too much wacky weed if you ask me. BTW, click on the photo of the Type 57 and you'll come to a larger version with this caption: Bugatti Type 57 Atlantic - 1936: Forget the performance of this sensational Italian and just look at those lines. Has there ever been a more beautiful car? Explains everything.
Volkswagon Bus #45 Ferrari F430 #46 Are you sure Ralph Nader isn't involved with this? I think I'll stop reading now...........................................
have to agree with #1, but a lot of the other ones seem out of place. like someone else said, these lists are never on the straight and narrow. casey
I see these TOP whatever lists often in the media, but most of them are not clear on how they select these cars. Most medium tends to rely on advertisement income & sponsors, thus there gotta be some extras affecting the result, too. They, at least, could pick top 20 or something on each decades. Anyway, this list is nonsense as it is comparing all cars in one bunch.
Pagani Zonda only number 40? The Dino on the list, but not the Maranello? I don't think I saw the Porsche 959, either. These lists are too subjective and not worth discussion. "Off with their heads!"
