    Spawned from Matt's house dilemma. I was suprised to see the amount of people talking about ghosts...So I figured I would ask....Do you believe in ghosts? I don't at this point and time, not till I see one or find overwhelming evidence to the contrary...What say you?

    I don't but on the same thread, I think there are certain events that lead to "haunting" like sucide or a horrific death. I think death of natural causes does not equal a haunting. Afterall, people die all the time and yet the earth is a safe place to live. Amityville is a whole other thread.

    I do. I've never seen an actual ghost floating across a room but have seen a glimpse of something go by me a few times and felt a change in the room. These things have happened in some of the "haunted" places around here so I'm sure my mind may have had a lot to do with it too. But it is enough for me to believe.

    There is an old asylum that has been converted into apartments. Some of the people who have lived there have told stories of waking up to things moved around, crosses turned upside down, and weird noises.
