A few times... maybe 5 over the last 5 years. Most of them were probably spammers, maybe 2 or 3 instances where someone was being a dink to someone else.

Never reported someone for saying something towards me. That is being a sniveling little telltale pansy. And there are several around.

Yes, for obvious scam. When I was a moderator in a huge forum, I was always glad to get them reported instead of having to weed through the forums myself. But the button can become a big PITA when people start using it to report every post they disagree with...

I know this will come as a surprise to you, but some folks hit the "!" to report children (and those who act like them) who don't know how to behave in a social situation, or even in a semi-social one like Fchat.
