Do you feel sad when your Ferrari is gone

I wouldn't say "sad" but you get spoiled with F cars.

I jump in a rental car and I'm like "what a piece of crap!"

 

No.

Don't get me wrong, I adore my Italian cars but it's not a "no", its a "not right now". Then again I also live in a place where snow and salt coat the roads so after 20+ years you build a tolerance I guess.

 

I miss mine and it’s in the garage—- it’s been raining every day for weeks and for the next many upcoming weeks so I don’t get to drive it…. It’s upsetting for sure.

I am traveling with the family right now, and I miss my mistress, left all alone with a brute Hellcat. I cannot wait until I get home…after the suitcases are in the house, my wife unpacks and does laundry as I start the baby up and go for a little tour

I do miss her when she is away for service. Each morning I give her ass a tap as I walk past her to the Merc to go to the office and I do the same when I arrive home.
Last year when I was in hospital one thing that was always on my mind was to get home and drive her when I was well enough, which I did. Now, my goal each drive is to put as much mileage as I can. When my time comes one thing I will not regret is not having driven my Ferrari enough because you can never drive your Ferrari enough.

 

Not especially sad when an F-car is gone, but I miss all my cars when absent before returning to use, so maybe a little sad. Each car in the household brings a different pleasure in use.

There is another moment of "gone" when one sells a car. I sell my toys when the passion has passed. When an F-car is gone I notice a while later the feeling includes the observation that the vastly-higher-than-other-cars cost per mile is not missed. No sadness is felt after "gone" when sold.

 

I’m having 1,000 square feet of hardwood flooring done in my house - have to store furniture in the garage so stashed my Ferrari at a buddy’s house about 10 miles away.

flooring guys said they would be done in a week - but it’s now been two weeks and they don’t look half done to me!

I really do feel sad when the Testarossa is in the shop. I totally understand owning 2-3 classic Ferrari's now, just so that one of them works.

 

Try when it's gone forever -- like Frodo and the Ring! I keep saying to myself: "It's Gone!"

 

My f430 has been gone 2 months now waiting for shocks to be rebuilt. I haven’t driven it since October due to a fuel smell (turned out to be fuel lines). Luckily the 575 is driving beautifully. I agree with the thought that u need a minimum of 2 fcars. Good chance 1 will be in the shop.

Yes! I had to ship mine out of state for repair work and that ended up being 9 months without a Ferrari. I said never again so I bought a spare Ferrari just for these circumstances.

The other day I was at a track and blew the tire. I got it inflated enough to get home, grabbed the other Ferrari, and headed back to the track.

 

Yes I miss mine.

 

Mine’s back! Took the flooring guys three weeks instead of one, then I had to re-install all the appliances as I put baseboard back up…

Sure did miss my baby, but now running into issues on getting some projects done on it.
