I have 2 of the suit bags and they will both fit on the rear shelf side by side. Only one suitcase will fit

I believe 550's luggage - as most (all) Ferrari luggage, is manufactured by https://www.schedonimodena.com/

 

I don't recall if that set was from a BaT posting....I don't recall where I saw that but I thought the owner/seller noted it was custom made for them. NOT Schedoni.

 

Partially true.

There are 550M sets that look identical to Schedoni, but are unbranded, and I believe was Ferrari's own dabble in outsourced sets during that time period.

No Cavallino's on the locks, no 'Schedoni' branding

 

I recall that auction now and at the time thought how crazy the bid was for an "unmarked" non-schedoni set.

 

Judging by the photos, particularly the very low quality embossed Cavallino and the interior finishing, I highly doubt that set was sold by Ferrari, much less manufactured by Schedoni. I believe it is a replica, but I might be wrong.
