    Are they helpful? Do you have one you would recommend? I am leaking oil from somewhere and I can't exactly see where from. I am thinking a bore scope would help out so I don't have to start taking things apart.

    I have the Visual Optics Video Inspection "Video Stik" Borescope Kit and can confirm that it has hundreds of uses. Easy on the wallet too.

    On any fluid leak I too prefer uv dye along with a blacklight and the appropriate eye wear. If you would like a borescope I have been quite happy with my Snap On unit.

    I have bore scopes and light source if you need it and I'm in Denver. Check out the crankcase emission system like the oil separator or drain tube its easy to fix and it can leak. Also the lines from the oil cooler.
