Knowing how wide the posts are, my guess is you may have to get a flat bed tow truck or wide flat bed trailer to move it. It can be winched up with the casters on, tied down and then located in the new garage. My lift is about 1600 pounds (origional shipping weight) so it can be pushed around easily, but rolling up onto a trailer or flat bed isn't going to happen with out 3-4 guys or a winch.

Yes, but not a 4 post. Best way would be to break the lift down and flatbed it. Don't know where you're located but Horchers can do it. Contact Ed at Ed's Affordable 847-934-6111.

I helped a friend move a lift 2 blocks (neighbor was moving out of state, gave him lift). Here is how we did it:

    1) Put lift on casters and spun 90 degrees
    2) Reomved casters
    3) Raised lift up
    4) Backed flatbed under lift (flatbed was rented from lowes for $20)
    5) lowered lift so that parking decks rested onto flatbed (and was able to get each post 8 inches off ground)
    6) Ratchet straped it down
    7) drove to new location did same steps in reverse order.

One piece of advice, may want to roll lift outside on casters first (it was tight getting out garage door. Obviously not safe for long distance
