Most of the people don't know red is the main color of the Ferrari and Why it is ? The reason is that there was a period in Formula One ( F1) when the color of a car indicated what country it was from. British cars were green. Japanese cars were white. French cars were blue. Germans cars were silver. Italians cars were red. Ferrari N.V. is an Italian sports car manufacturer based in Maranello and Ferrari is the most successful F1 team of all time and of course, they are Italian. I love red color and what's your favorite?

Red. There was an idea put about that it was Giallo (Yellow). Not so, yellow is the Modena national colour I believe.
I think that was why Enzo chose Giallo for the background on the well known Prancing horse shield.

Red being the racing colour of Italy. How lucky they are to have red. Whilst I love BRG I'd rather have a red or maybe yellow :D

German cars were initially not silver; they became silver in the 1930s. They were originally supposed to be white.
