My wife named my 328 "Lolita". She says she is my 23 year old Italian mistress. I call her the red car or Ferrari.
The motorcycle is Pirotessa after a long-time favorite Anime character. Haven't figured out the personality of the Lexus, yet.
My wife will ask which car we are taking and sometimes I reply "the red one" or "red". That's as close as I have come to naming an auto. Nothing wrong with it however.

Mostly these names along with the names of my other vehicles, are just code between my wife and I.) Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
My wife named my Ferrari, Ginalola....Gina for short. She named her car Heidi Schwartz. She drives a black BMW. My DD is a Dodge and the poor thing never rated a proper name.
I dated a girl for a few months before she moved out of state. A wild thing, she was loud, she especially liked to frighten strangers, she smoked compulsively, turned heads wherever she went, etc. It was only natural that my Mondi be named after her... so she's called Suzy.
In my family growing up with just referred to the cars by their manufacturer or the model name. So I followed suit.. I refer to my Ferrari 328 as either "the ferrari" or "the 328"
When I first bought it, I called my 328, "Black Rain". But the first service cured that. (Yes, Virginia, it *is* possible to keep oil in them.)
I don't have a cool car I don't have a name for my current car. But, my first car in high school was 1981 Mercedes 240D - which my friends affectionately called "The Ghetto D." It was in great shape, no rust or anything, nice leather, etc., but it was so dang loud because it was a diesel - everyone just assumed it was a POS. LOL
