I actually Hope Button gets his first win. Unfortunately that will come at the cost of Ferrari not winning. If he could just hold off until after M. Schumacher and Ferrari have clinched the championship, then that would be fine with me.

As long as Juan Pable does not win this year, I will be happy with almost anything actually.

Is the real question will BAR or Button win a race? I don't think Sato is up for a win this year, but maybe Button if the stars align. Look at the past odd winners - Herbert, Fisi, etc.

    My thoughts exactly !
It doesn't happen often, but i just can't stand the guy!

Button, Alonso, Trulli, Webber ,... they all can have a win

As long as Ferrari is World Champion !

I think they stand a good chance.

I also look forward to the Monaco GP where anything can happen. Some other team (than Ferrari or BAR) might even win that one.

at least one race this year. Button is driving extremely well and the rest of teams (besides Ferrari) aren't showing much this season.

Something is bound to happen to MS. Hopefully not too severe. But i believe that Jenson will have his first win considering his recent form. What i actually think is that instead of Michael feeling threatened by this chalenge, i'm thinking that he might embrace it. I mean, did you see the appreciation that MS had for JB?? It was amazing seeing those two tussle up front when they both were consistantly lapping 0.5-1.0 seconds faster than anyone else. MS had the better car, but i think BAR are spurred on by these recent results. Honda also has a history of producing the goods when they are spirited enough. I can't wait for the next race!!

I can see Button winning a race but I think it will look like when Alonso won the Hungarian GP last year. Get the pole , have a great start to the race and hope that there's a Webber or Sato in 2nd that could slow MS , the Williams and Renault behind so that Button can run away.

If BAR get to the same level as Ferrari, then I can see him winning more than 1 race. Will see.

Bar tested very well in Barcelona this past winter. They obviously know the track and the set up. I think this could be a very interesting weekend and could produce a Button win. Hope not, but better Bar and Button than either Williams driver.

i think they have the ability to win especially since MB hasn't been finishing and BMW has issues of their own. i think their best chances are in monaco, or another track that's difficult to pass on. with a strong qualifying it'll be tough for anyone to really get by. we've seen that button has the ability to race hard so it wouldn't surprise me if it happened. i don't see them winning this weekend though. maybe if they were to shuffle up the qualifying rules again there might be some interesting winners.

i'm with a lot of you in the thought that as long as JPM doesn't win, i'm happy.

That could turn out to be the case. That's what is making this years season exciting.... for me anyways!!
BAR won't be at the same level as Ferrari this year i think, i don't think anyone will be. But BAR i think may become the team that could question Ferrari's dominance. Basically, if Ferrari slips up, then JB is in with a chance. And also don't count Sato out. As long a JPM dosn't win this year, im happy.
I was speaking to a friend in Japan, who asked a Honda dealership over there when he just bought his car, about Honda's commitment to F1. The dealer replied that Honda were more committed to BAR now than they have been to anyone else. Ever. With the bringing in of Toyota, and their now clear dominance over them now, Honda are aparently going to push their engine program into "full-on" development mode. To sum it all up.....Expect Honda to greatly lift their game. Especially in power and also reliability. Honda would have been spurred on to gain more power in their engines with JB's podium. But also spurred on by Sato's blow-up to further the reliability.
Im looking forward to more races!

Button is the only driver at BAR that can win a race. And the only way Button can win the race if MS lets them win or has and unlikely retirement from the race.
