Do you think this camera would be useful?

I could see where that would definitely have its uses. Especially if you're a big outdoor photographer, it could be cool to map out your photos.

i've been doing this for years.

i had to create a database for all of our 7500+ bus stops, and we got some guys to spend 6 months on the road taking 4-6 photos of every one of them from all angles.

of course gps positioning data is essential for the location of a bus-stop, so at the time of the project i decided it might be useful to include gps data with the photos... this turned out great!

so what we have basically, is 30,000+ photographs with an X and Y coordinate and a date/time. so, with my GIS application (mapping) that i made it can plot the location of every one of these photos on a map. not only is this useful for finding information about a bus stop, but if you're in that general area and want to know what it looks like, it's right there on the map only a click away.
