    Ya me too... I hate when in school they make you learn stuff that you never have to use in the real world. I am looking for a service on the internet, maybe someone will do it for me for $100.

    I think I've got it, I want you to learn something from all this so I will give you an easier question that will explain everything.

    What do a 9 volt battery and a girls butt hole have in common?

    No matter how many times you have been told its wrong, you are bound to lick it at least once in your life.

    I have no idea man, Thats why I work at a car dealership.

    Did a bureaucrat write this? If anybody came to me with this I’d tell them to move along, they would do better elsewhere. In my opinion, this is a load of you know what, to accountants and broadcast economy experts this may be lunchroom humor, but my answer is this, get government out of private business. Let free market reign.

    Shame on you. Taking an econimics class and posting the question on the take home test for us fellow chatters to solve!

    Besides, dont you know our field is strictly quantum mechanics theory and how it relates to the theory of expansion of the universe?

    While I dislike econometrics, I loved learning econ principles and theory - I think it really is handy in the real world to understand the interrelationships between supply/demand, money supply, unemployment, etc. i don't think the exact calculations are as important as knowing which go up and down at the same time!

    I remember sitting there in exams making little graphs with my [index] "Fingers of Supply and Demand."

    Yes, the principals of micro/macro were tough for me to get through... then I had the great idea to sign up for this class, "intermediate macro" :(

    I will pass the class however... I can take a 50% on this final and still pass, and I'll get better than that. When I finish I'll post the answers here... unless someone can beat me to it! :D

    Some help:

    For #1

    C = Consumption
    Y = Output
    T = Taxes
    I = Investment
    G = Government Purchases
    NX = Net Exports
    e = Exchange Rate
    M/P = Real Money Balances
    M = Money Supply
    P = Price Level
    CF = Net Capital Outflow

    For #2

    π = Inflation
    π-1 = Last Years Inflation
    u = Unemployment Rate

    Okun's Law is the negative relationship between unemployment and GDP.

    If someone can do these problems correctly, I will PayPal $50 :)

    Crap! I loved micro & macro (I'm nerdy, I know), but I'm not sure how much I can remember. My printer doesn't work on this computer, however, if I can print that out and play with it a bit, I'll do my best to come up with a solution for you. :)

    I forwarded the problem to my CPA in Greenwich, CT. His reply was, "It's gonna cost you more than $50 to get the answer!!"
