do you use the Fchat control panel?

Do you? You should. It helps you keep track of watched and subscribed threads as well as the forums you have interest in.

Simply click on User Controls and Settings. Set that as your homepage, or at least shortcut for Fchat. Makes life so much easier to manage on Fchat.

 

Yep, I use it all the time. Click on new posts to get a list of all new posts since my last visit.

My only beef with it is that the Mark Forums Read button is too close to the new posts button, and on multiple occasions, I have clicked it by accident. But, tecnically, that is a user issue and not a functional issue.

indeed, and my only buff is that 'unsubscribe' from a particular forum is too close to reading the actual forum. I have to resubscribe at least twice a week. and I wish it were one button, but these are only small items that can be corrected. otherwise, with firefox and an Fchat tab, I have it all mapped out.
