Doc's Jags is gone.

Jag E's are one tough cookie to make money at...It is strictly a love of Labor, or is that labor of Love!

 

Good riddance! Worst automotive experience I’ve had in 25 years was with “Doc” Scadron.
Shortly after, BBB banned him, JCNA did likewise.

 

I have been casually shopping for the right Series 1 FHC for about a year now, and was told multiple times by several very knowledgeable Jaguar and British car people to stay far, far away from Doc's Jags. Also, if you go do a bit of googling you can find some horror stories. There were also a few comments from FChat members in a few of the old etype threads I started in this section.

Now, I never had any personal experience with them, so take what I have to say with a big grain of salt. But from talking to MANY people, there was an awful lot of smoke for there not to be at least a little fire. In the end I decided there are always plenty of Jags for sale from other places, so I didn't want to risk it.

 

Yes, I heard similar. No dealings on my end, but enough smoke...

 

I've seen some of "Doc's Jags" and I wouldn't have wished it on anyone. There are a few folks in the business that aren't crooks, he wasn't one of them.

 

Question the quality of the Jags he once restored.
