After nearly a year, I have finally received via mail (I lived too far) from the selling Ferrari dealership a brand new key along with a code card they had ordered from FNA.

The cut groove matches, but pressing the buttons doesn't do anything. The "engine immobilizer" message comes up when pressing the engine start button. I have checked the battery inside to ensure the batteries are not dead.

Is there a button pressing sequence to activate the new key? Or does it still need to be paired by the nearest dealership techs? The car is '12.
