    Can anybody shed some light on this and what suspension upgrades do you guys do to pre-91 TRs? I don't do much track so it's more of street & some long trips on highways/country roads. But I would appreciate a better setup that can balance the chassis. I'm also surprised that the bonnet cover is so heavy.

    TRossas benefit from a std shock overhaul every 10 years or so. And you can up rate the springs about 50%/30% if you want a nice sprint car.

    The diff is a locker, yes.

    The bonnet should have struts to assist the lift... replace them.

    I checked my gearbox seriously (see pic) after your question.
    NO LSD or any other DRUGS inside!!! God bless my mechanic ;)

    My 512M has a secret compartment where Mike used to stash his goodies, no LSD that I saw though, just a piece of what looks like a human ear LOL

    Not in the gearbox, but the Government Auction cars routinely have the gas tanks filled with Coke.........;)

    Not Wolfgang's of course, he is the original owner, more usually the ones out of FLORIDA!!!!
