Is that the asking price, or just the starting bid price? $31,0000 sounds awful low.

$31,000 is his buy it now price... I agree that it sounds very low, which is why I'm wondering if anyone has looked into it or knows something that may tell me to steer clear.

He admits in the ad that he needs cash. But the carbon fiber interior bits aren't original, nor are the wheels, nor are the red engine components - and the seller makes no mention of having the originals. He also notes that the paint is good but not concours quality, and he doesn't mention a date or odometer reading associated with engine-out service.

I've done business in parts with the seller before and he was a straight-up guy with me. Retired guy who owns several nice cars. $31k (and I'm prepared for flames, but I'm a 348 owner too) is about market when a guy really wants to sell a decent car. By saying it's not concours, he's protecting himself from nitpickers who buy the car on ebay, then complain about every imperfection and ask for a price adjustment.
Realize that I never buy perfect cars because you only get to see them get worse.

Seems like that could be an incredible deal for someone assuming the PPI checks out. The car looks good and the price is great.

I guess the mileage is in that "catastrophically high" category by Ferrari standards which means it is a great deal for any of the folks who claim they are buying to REALLY DRIVE! :D
