http://www.getdshirts.com/ Tripped across this site this afternoon. Can't say that I feel too sorry for this looser. He had a great job for 5 years on a top rated kid's show and he couldn't scrape together 250K to buy a house and now he wants me to donate my hard earned money so that he can continue to live in a house that he obviously can't afford? I don't think so. If you read the whole story he not only wants to make enough money by selling these shirts but then he also wants to 'take down' a gentleman that works at a bank that was trying to help him out...and he admits that his credit is bad. Where is the sense of responsibility that I was brought up with?
Oh, it's just Screech - fuggitaboudit. Now, if it was Kelly Kapowski (Tiffani-Amber Thiessen) - that house'd have been paid off in like 3 interweb-minutes... NSFW http://heresjosh.blogspot.com/tiffany_amber_thiessen3.jpg NSFW
People in this situation don't want to let go and face reality. If he can't afford it(they started to foreclose because he wasn't making payments) then he needed to bail early and salvage whatever equity he has. With this guy's poor credit he has a habbit of not taking debt seriously. He may have spun out of control after his glory years in TV on booze, drugs, who knows? Anyway, if you make your nest you gotta lay in it. This guy has made some poor choices and now it's really crashing in. The lender foreclosing could care less as they know they'll get their money but in the meantime the fees just keep adding up. Take your lumps buddy and move on. Life's tough but you have to take responsibility. PS - if this guy had a legitimit reason for the foreclosure then I'd suggest he file a bankruptcy for some relief until he gets it sorted out. As it stands he's just postponing the inevitable.
I don't believe it. I think this is his job (business). Just another way for him to make money since he can't find a career in acting and doesn't want a "regular" job out of the lime light imo.
Was thinking the same thing. This is just a "scam" - He sells his shirts just to make money, probably now to save his house. That TV show can't possibly have made him reach anyway, it was really bad and it wasn't on that long with him participating was it?
first off he gets a little money every time they play that show second his brother is one of the beastie boys this is obviously just promotion even jeff foxworthy is on there promoting
are those real?? if they are she sure grew up after the show Screetch was doing a radio interview last year laughing at how hes the only one still working and still has a carrer now , man that just irronic should have saved his money after doing Saved By the Bell for what 10 years or so!
There's probably some truth to it. He lives in Port Washington, WI and has filed a BK before. I'll bet he hasn't been doing much, although he does stand-up comedy. Sounds like the guy might be out of dough and now grabbing for straws.
Actually the rest of the main characters on the show have better careers than he does. Lark might be a close one. Yea, 4 years ago. "Defeated Ron Palillo (Horshack on 'Welcome Back, Kotter') on Fox's Celebrity Boxing 2 (2002)."
I like Jesse, aka Elizabeth with her famous line in Showgirls in the red 348 stating "it doesn't suck", she's bad with her boots also.
I know, but he was still shooting his mouth off about them being loosers even though they are all more sucessful then him. I just laughed at how lame he was You would have though he would have realized that being a nerdy joke wouldnt get him much work after Saved by the Bell, oh well
Maybe it is real. Pic of his house in the article, too: http://www.jsonline.com/story/index.aspx?id=435980
Yea, for sure it's true based on the article. "Diamond, 29, faces losing the home under a foreclosure order filed in Ozaukee County Circuit Court on May 4. It demands that he kick up the remaining $250,000 he owes under a land contract, which Diamond said was one of the few options available for him in 2003 because of a bad credit record, which includes a 2001 bankruptcy filing in California." IMO the guy who has the land contract is screwing him by demanding the whole $250K payment. Since he's filed a BK before it's tough for him to just refi. I'm not too sure what selling some t-shirts will do to get him any closer to the $250K? He may be just trying to get back at the guy a bit.
Wasn't he on Howard Stern or some show like that last week discussing the size of his.......... you know. Someone said '12" ?' and he said 'no, it's like 10 and a half.........'.
