Did anyone make a copy of the 308 GT4 serial number / build number list before it was taken off line?

Peter has an extensive list but he hasn't kept it up to date for many years, a daunting task in itself as cars change hands often.
Are you looking at a particular car? A search or post by serial # could bring up some info.

They still work, but they are barely visible due to the nearly same blue color.

I don't know if there is a "build number" list out there outside of the factory's official manufacturing records, unattainable to the public unless you are really special. There are numbers on the back of upholstery components but you have to disassemble something, for instance remove the back seat, in order to see them. They really don't indicate anything directly attached to the chassis number, they are an indicator to a group of parts produced for 1 car. That group of parts could have been installed in any car that required that color and/or material. There are also body and frame tags as well. This whole build numbers thing is more of an internal factory inventory tracking system than a "bespoke to a car" system. If you were a close personal friend of Enzo and ordered a car with special parts outside of normal production options it may have relevance. The same goes for engine and transmission numbers, the workers just pulled from a stack of parts and installed them. One could associate a number within a certain time frame such as a month or two but they weren't stamped with the serial number of the car they were installed in like many American car manufactures did. A perfect example of that system is Chrysler products of the muscle car era, the car's serial number was stamped on the components (engine, trans, rear axle, fenders etc.) as they were installed on the assembly line hence the term "matching numbers".

On Peter's list my car's engine and transmission number's are listed as well as other car's numbers built around the same time, they are not in a sequential order by any means. I have a heritage certificate for my car confirming that the engine and trans in the car are the ones that were the components installed when the car was built.

Here are a couple of photos of part of my car's interior, you can see "574" on the parts. IIRC there is a tag spot welded to the frame low on the right rear near the exhaust with a number for the frame.

I maintain a "registry" of sorts on my site. The meat of the info came from Peter's site, but I've made a lot of updates since. Every time I encounter a 308 GT4 in person or for sale, I try to grab all the info I can. Here's my list:
