i was just talking about that last night with a friend of mine, we stopped by a bowling alley and the arcade next door had the game, i always wanted that game! Very fun on simulator with no assists on, feels like the real thing with sound and everything ^_^

I have seen a few people with them in their basements or garages. Pretty popular arcade game.

The shipping for the game is $ 1500 what I was told by these guys.
I would be a player if we can get a container and get the shipping price reduced.

Ouch $1500 for shipping, well it is coming from Hong Kong. Wow might as well rent a uhaul and find it somewhere in the U.S.. lol
I'm thinking of looking around California, that way I could rent a truck and get it. Save a good chunk of change.

Well the idea is nice except I have been looking and can not locate one for sale anywhere.

I told the arcade at the Kart track that I will own the machine they have sitting but they have no timeline when that will be and I WANT IT NOW!

I used to be the arcade manager for speedzone in Dallas... there should be at least one major coin-op distributor in your major metropolitan area, or if you're in on of the top 10 areas population-wise, there are probably 3 or 4. They will have their finger on the pulse of the industry in your area and will know when an arcade is looking to trade theirs in on something that will generate more $/sqft. (the golden calculation when running an arcade.) Tell them what youre looking for, and let them know you're serious, and they'll find one for you.

The Sony PS2 and Sega Dreamcast versions are awesome the only problem they dont have the 6spd manual otherwise the games are perfect ports.

The one I played you could choose the paddle shifter or the manual 6 speed with clutch pedal. Its really an awesome experience.

Don't use the clutch and you get a slower shift and grinding noise. The game rocks.
