    Hello,

Does anyone here own this car or know of it, particularly the service record details? I searched this web site but there was not any info about it. Did the tranny work convert the tranny to 512tr tranny?

    Many thanks.

    1988: Yellow TR Vin: ZFFSG17A2J0075472

THIS ONE OWNER ORIGINAL 1988 FERRARI TESTAROSSA HAS UNDERGONE AN ENGINE OUT BELT SERVICE ONE YEAR AGO. AT THAT TIME AN ELECTRIC AIR PUMP AND UPGRADED AIR VALVES WERE FITTED. IT WILL PASS EMISSION TESTING ANYWHERE.THE TRANSMISSION WAS REBUILT IN ASSOCIATION WITH SPORT AUTO OF GAYLORDSVILLE CT. ALL NEW SYNRO RINGS AND BEARINGS WERE FITTED AS WELL AS A NEW STYLE 512TR DIFFERENTIAL HOUSING. NEW FRONT WHEEL BEARINGS HAVE ALSO BEEN INSTALLED. THE FUSE BOX HAS BEEN UPGRADED AS WELL. A NEW CLIMATE CONTROL PANEL WAS INSTALLED AND THE A/C WORKS FINE.THE CAR ALSO COMES WITH THE ORIGINAL AND COMPLETE TOOL KIT. ORIGINAL AND UNUSED FITTED LUGGAGE BY SCHEDONI IS INCLUDED IN THE SALE OF THE CAR.

If what is describe is real this sound like a cheap car. I would have a PPI with compression and leak down test and road test it yourself. The interior need some refreshing but does not look too bad. New driver seat cover is for sale on eBay in that color. Mileage is not low but not too high. The 87 and early 88 are my prefered years.

Just wondering why the '87 and early '88 are your preferred years (speaking as the owner of an '87 TR :) )

Well that's good to hear but I've always heard premiums start at the 88.5 when major updates rolled thru.
