Does anyone know a good detailer in MI?

    Like the title says does anyone know a good shop/person in MI (Ann Arbor/East Lansing/Detroit) that can detail my car? It is black and has some swirl marks from the dealership washing the car. (Infiniti)

    i have been reading threads on other forums about everything that i would need but without a garage it makes it hard and it would not be cheap either by the time i got the clay,wax,poslish whatever else. I sort of got lost in it all

    A good detailer will be less cheap... and to get out the swirls you may be talking about might require an orbital buffer...

    To hand-wash, clay, wax, shine is just a 3ish hour job for a nice day; and requires no garage.

    i know it will cost more but then i don't have to do it. i most likely will do it my self and it was not so much about a garage but more about not having a hose. ill just have to make a trip back to EL to my parents house

    The one in Birmingham has done my cars and they are great. They are in Auto Europes service building. They will actually touch up the paint if necessary.

    I have a coworker that does a good job i hear and if you want I can ask himabout your infiniti G35. hes here in tecumseh as well. really great guy and hes close to you only 30 min drive.

    Contact Jason @ www.deep-gloss.com He did my 430 last year , and i can't say enough about what a great job he did . You will pay more than some local "detail expert" charges , but Jason knows his stuff , and you won't be disappointed . If you want to see photos of the entire detail process he did pm me and i'll send you the link .

    I washed and waxed the car :) it looks better but i still need to have someone try and fix the swirls & dings so ill try and contact the different people this week by phone.

    +1 for Jason. If you're looking for paint correction, especially on black, it will pay off in the long run if you pay for the real pro to do it right. I'm sure he'd also spend time with you educating you on the proper wash and dry techniques so you can avoid swirls in the future.
