I was there last weekend on Saturday and did not see the car in their main showroom. I was at their new refurb facility last Sunday at its public introduction, and I did not see the car there either.

I just looked at the current listing they faxed me and do not see it listed there either.

    So, it must have sold!

I thought they were holding it and maintaining it for some Japanese fellow who has owned it for several years and keeps it here.

Symbolic maintains and repairs many Ferrari's for a Japanese client who has a museum in Japan.

If you contact Joe Loayza at Symbolic he acn tell you everything- 858-454-1800

This 250 may belong to that person.

Wow...how about just simply asking ?

    No deep dark secrets...

Yes car is for sale again.

No it is not owned by Symbolic.

Car is owned by Hayashi San in Japan.

Car arrived today at Port of Long Beach.

Should clear customs in four to five days.

    Asking price is $1.65M.

We have bought and sold this same car on three different occasions.

Very nice car usually considered one of the very best LWB Cal. Spyders due to history, originality and a pretty nice Ferrari Factory 230bhp engine and disc brakes.

NEXT TIME SIMPLY CALL ME AT 619 840 7811 or EMAIL ME DIRECTLY AT bnoon@symbolicmotors.com

    Warm regards always,

Man, if you can't see the beauty in that, there is a problem.

    Beautiful car.

I was just looking at that site that has the converted convertibles and saw one for a "Ferris Bueller" ferrari with a mustang motor. It didn't look bad...Until I saw this post.

    thanks for sharing those photos!

    regards

    kcv

ps, just curious, its been sold 3 times, anyone know the year of sale and price of each. It would be interesting to see the appreciation.

While no where near as pricey as it was 15 years ago, the car has doubled in price since we first acquired it.

    Cheers,

Thanks for the response and the beautiful photo. I didn't want to bother you over a car that I have no intention of buying. I was just curious about what had become of one of the most beautiful cars in the world.

    Hey guys,

If I only posted or responded to just check-writers, I would talk to like maybe two-people per month.

I do not buy, play, trade and race these machines just to make a few end users happy...I do it for myself, my family and all the enthusiasts alike.

So no one has an excuse... Pick up the phone or email me anytime.

If you are in town, stop by and browse around. If I am out and about there are always floor salesman who are just as happy to give tours and browsers are always welcome to simply wonder about and take photos if they like.

    Cheers,

    Bill Noon

...they too can be arranged...but if they are just for fun you will need to coordinate well in advance when I need to move, photograph etc... the cars.

On the quiet, I believe this car has found a new home.

Confirmation will be posted when the contract and deposit comes back.

    Cheers,

    Bill

I agree! Happily, I don't have to cross any oceans to visit, just fly south about 900 miles.

As a former San Diego resident I can confirm that the good people of Symbolic are more than happy to show a poor postdoc round the place.
