Does anyone know the color combination of this 308 GTB?

My first thought is tobacco but it may be more brown than that. Nice combo though.

The interior looks to be redone so take that into consideration as well. Might be different than what it was from the factory?

 

O’Rourke’s. I was at their shop about five years ago. The work is superb.

 

They're doing some 365 seats for a car I restored, looking forward to seeing them.

That interior looks incredible but is NOT tobacco. I have tobacco, and - in period then - the option was more olive/beige. There was a Schedoni special package that had a similar color, but also came with embossed headrests and a special steering wheel, so I'm guessing not that.

According to my late-70s Connolly leather sample guide (they were the OEM provider), the closest match would be VM890, Testa di Moro. In pics online, it looks a bit darker than your reference car, but pretty close.

I agree with wildcat326, the color of the Grigio 308 above is Testa di Moro VM890 from the factory name (the one for sale on eBay are fantastic!)

This color is also, sometime called Brown, or Chocolate on the window sticker in US, but as European does not have this kind of sheet, only the invoice will be a confirmation (but really rare to find in Europe).

Tabacco is the official Ferrari name for Tan, you can also find window sticker with both. It is a really thin tint difference with the Beige (also named Fawn). Like the Crema and Sabbia, the difference is hard to see.

I spent a lot of time researching the differences between the official name versus the trade name as well as the shipping habits of certain markets. This can be very confusing.

I just received the Vehicle Production Data of my 328GTB #72583. The original leather interior color is Blu Nuvola VM3015 ( according the dealer Classiche technician ), BUT on the document the internal colour is mentioned as Azzurro 3015 !

 

you have to take a lot of perspective when talking about colors...last night I found a paint label from an Azzurro car that said the name "Celeste", with the correct Azzurro code. You could tell me that the color is visually identical so that the painter noted it "Italian style", but there is a Ferrari color "Celeste", and the code is not the same as the Azzurro ....

 

I have a Nero 1980 GTBi and was able to determine the color code for my year. It proved to be helpful as there were two codes - one code for cars up to and including 1980, and there was one that covered those labeled 1981. I had a minor scratch and dent repaired at a high-end body/paint shop (Mercedes specialist). I noticed a slight variance. It appears that when they checked the color code for my GTBi they were given the color code for GTBi cars that were different from early models. I started to research and ran across the link below and it answered my question and I was able to get the paint shop to correct the color at no charge. The link seems to be very informative. Your car is in Salchi paint provider period so code is 599-1-619 but paint shop can't have the formula so most of the time, they take the reference from Glasurit which became the supplier at the end of the year 80
