and she is pretty too Someone just adores trucks. Truck tail lights The money spend one could easily buy a real F355 Spider.
ROFL..... The worst thing in my opinion is the taillights that look broken. I know beauty is in the eye of the beholder and I don't pooh pooh people that want to make modifications. I've seen things like new rims, different head/tail lights, redone interiors - it's all good. The line gets crossed in my opinion when you create something 'false', that it's not modernization or enhancement, but false representation aka Fiero F50. Slap a Lambo badge on my MiniVan...see - my lambo?!
Sounds like something I need!!! Where do I find such a magnificent beast? I await with anti.....ci......pation!!!! Sid P.S - Just kidding.

A little late to the party, but I just looked at both cars. With regard to the first one -- look at the cavallino on the speedo, it appears to be very crude when compared with the one on the tach. Something strange going on there. Not into the flame stitching, or the rear seats for that matter. I believe it might be a 3.2 motor. I base this on the fact that we had a lot of cars to compare at the 'palooza, and someone had one that was a very early 3.2 engine, but there were none of the other usual indications. Just said "mondial" and "cabriolet" on the back and I think the intake plenum resembled the QV. There were are lot of subtle differences when we had all of the cars lined up. I think I discussed this with Chris or Dirk. Also, in the engine shots of the ebay car... that's a freq. valve damper near the fuel dist, and maybe a microswitch assy. on the other side of the throttle body? (I'm not a 3.2 guy, but that's what it looks like to me.) The second car. Well I think Paul and Jeff summed it up best, there's obviously a lot of effort, but the end result is perhaps pleasing only to the owner. I don't think it's bad, badging notwithstanding. The wooden F50: not a lot of freeboard on that. Prolly best to stay in coastal waters
Correct only 3.2 and 328 have a microswitch on the throttlehouse and this Mondial has one on it. Engine number or ECU could only quickly confirm if it is a 3.2 Vin says it was a 3.0 QV on delivery when new, also looking at the HP I'm, 99% sure this Mondial had an engine swap. Airhouses are interchangeable so it does not say anything and perhaps on purpose to maintain the QV look. However, with a little work.... Paint it red put some cheese graters on the sides, Dual round tail-lights on each side. Quad exhaust pipes - no cats, no mufflers, just straight from the engine. Maybe, just maybe, put a flame thrower kit on the exhaust!!! Whaaaammmmmm...............I'd definitely drive it!!! I think my neighbors would love it!! Sid
I'M NOT INSTALLING A FLAME KIT. end of story. you know that would be a bad idea, and you're flaming enough as it is
