Do you think low mileage is desirable?

Whether it's 5 miles or 50K miles, service record will tell you how the car was maintained.

To me the must have options are the leather shelf and barchetta wheels, but that's just a personal taste. I have seen aftermarket leather shelf, but it wasn't nearly as nice as the original.

As for the price, it is slightly high for this car considering its blue and the (lack of) options, but again this is a 5K car and to some people it will command a premium.

IMHO, the 550 market has bottomed and is starting to get strong based on the following:
    - a low mileage '01 550 was recently sold by a So Cal dealer for over $100K.
    - there are a lot of F1 575s for sale and very few 550s...even fewer well documented/serviced clean 550s.
    - "old school" 6-spd people will either pay a premium ($110K maybe?) for a 6-spd 575 or go with a 550.

Service records are invaluable however, a professional pre-purchase inspection by a professional Ferrari tech is a must regardless of how recent the last service may have been.
