OK, this has been driving me nuts for years, maybe you guys can help me.

Does anyone know this song from about 10 years ago or so. It's a peppy number, almost punk rock, but had wide air play. The only words I can remember are:
"When my baby's walkin' down the street, I see red, I see red, I see red.
Bla bla bla bla bla.....I see red, I see red, I see red."

Who did it and what's it called?
It's driving me nuts 'cause as you can see I have it on my custom plate but can't find the song.

    Thanks!
    Wes

when my baby's walking down the street
i see red, i see red, i see red
how could someone wicked walk around free
i see red, i see red, i see red
    i see red
    i see red (red!)
    i see red
    i respect your wishes
you give me such precious hours
    what to do without you
squeezed me out of your life
down the drain like molten toothpaste
i felt used and spat out
    poor old me
when my baby's walking down the street
i see red, i see red, i see red
how could someone wicked walk around free
i see red, i see red, i see red
    i see red
    i see red (red!)
    i see red
    i'm fed up with crying
    my despair is dying
turning into rage, day by day
    green before you met me
in the pink when you let me love you
i was blue when you let me down
    black and blue
    (sing it!)
when my baby's walking down the street
i see red, i see red, i see red
how could someone wicked walk around free
i see red, i see red, i see red
    i see red
    i see red (red!)
    red...
i see red, i see red, i see red...

Not the song your looking for but still a classic.

    Rush / Red Lenses

    I see red
    And it hurts my head
    Guess it must be something
    That I read

It's the color of your heartbeat
    A rising summer sun
    The battle lost or won
    The flash to fashion
    And the pulse to passion
    Feels red
    Inside my head
    And truth is often bitter
    Left unsaid
    Said red red
    Thinking about the overhead
    The underfed

Couldn't we talk about something else instead?

We've got mars on the horizon
    Says the national midnight star
    (It's true)
What you believe is what you are
    A pair of dancing shoes
    The soviets are the blues
    The reds
    Under your bed
    Lying in the darkness
    Dead ahead

    And the mercury is rising
    Barometer starts to fall
You know it gets to us all
    The pain that is learning
And the rain that is burning
    Feel red
    Still...go ahead
    You see black and white
    And I see red
    Red
    (Not blue)

Ummm, seeing them in concert this eve :)

"...I strip away the old debris
    That hides a shining car.
    A brilliant red Barchetta
    From a better, vanished time.
I fire up the willing engine,
    Responding with a roar.
    Tires spitting gravel,
    I commit my weekly crime..."
