http://www.dupontregistry.com/autos/Search/DRauSearchDetails.aspx?itemid=1113584 Seems like a good deal and nice car. I emailed the owner tonight...waiting to hear back...wouldn't be a bad xmas gift for myself! are people doing PPI's on vantages the way they do on Fcars? Thanks guys! your thoughts and opinions are appreciated!
That is a really low price for an '08 roadster, though the miles are higher than most '08's on the market. You MUST do a PPI. It is even more important than with Ferrari's for two reasons (i) Ferrari's tend to be more coddled by owners and (ii) a Vantage is both an exotic and a British car, which doubles the chances of it having major issues if it has not been properly cared for.
Aww bummer....at that price was definitely going to move fast. Don't give up your search though....the Aston is the most elegantly designed car.
You have one? If so whats the servicing cost like, to compare I have a 1995 F355? Also would you say it would be a good daily or is that a no? Thanks for the response.
So far, my servicing cost has been zero. BUT, I have only had it about 2 months Mine is an 07, that I bought with about 7500 miles on it. Yes, very low milage. It is my daily driver, and will remain a DD unless there is snow on the roads in which case I'll just walk to the office or have my wife drop me off (she has a Wrangler Unlimited). It is absolutely 100% capable as a daily driver. I go to the grocery store, Target, drop my son off at school, etc. etc. It is a 6-speed manual. I am not a fan of paddle cars (in any marque) when they use old-style clutches. A California/458/FF paddle is a different game. On cold mornings (30 degrees) it takes a little while to warm up, but the gearbox is perfectly usable even when cold.
