Title pretty much, someone was trying to convice me that steering could change its characterictics/weight depending on the drive mode selected. According to user manual, it changes CT/TC obviously which in the end has effect on the way the car feels, but I dont think I noticed any direct change on the steering feel, however 99% of my driving is in Sport only so I might be wrong.

I have not noticed any steering wheel feel changes. I do notice a slight turn in difference but that might be the result of a tighten suspension and weight transfer.

I think that is correct. The systems do not adjust the weighting or response of the steering directly. However, changing the damper firmness can make it seem as if its being adjusted a little.

In the F8, no. I attended the Corso Pilota school last fall and Ferrari had a great presentation on exactly what all the modes do (I forgot to grab a screenshot), but in no mode is steering impacted.

I have the Lambo STO and when switching from STO to Trofeo mode, shifting is noticeably more abrupt and steering much heavier. The suspension tightens up as well. Interesting philosophical differences between Ferrari and Lamborghini.

If you really want to feel and appreciate the difference between modes, you’d want to take it on a track (instructor recommended) and carefully work your way up the modes on the manettino.
