Simple question. How does it drive? Is the targa version too weak and slow? Will it blow up if driven hard in the track?

    Can't tell if you're serious.

Probably doesn't make sense. I've never driven one but I'm sure the targa version is too weak, slow and it will certainly blow up if it hasn't already.

Yes, then watch it appreciate in a few years. You heard it here first!

For actual driving, I'm sure the manual steering and dog-leg gearbox are more interesting than the 355 setup. Should be a more raw experience. I don't see a 348 being any more likely than a 355 to blow up at the track. I would get the engine out and fully refreshed before pushing it to the limit, unless it was recently done at a reputable specialist.

It doesn't; you have to push it....better results if 2 or more people are pushing, but make sure they are wearing kid's gloves so as not to scratch the paint.

Yes...very weak and very slow. Get a berlinetta, it is 50x stronger and 75x faster.....you won't need anyone to push it either.

Yes. Every 348 that has ever been tracked has exploded.

In fact, every 348, whether tracked or not, will explode at some point. Make sure the 2 people that are pushing one are aware of this so that their families do not sue you.

And if you think that's bad, wait until you hear about the 355 (I hope the guy you just bought one from gave you the list of warnings).......

I would love a 348 to go with my F355 Berlinetta. I would pick a 348 spider as a different look and feel.

I would not buy a 348 tb - too similar.

Good luck - go drive one to see.

Thanks Robb, I put the modular 360 wheels on within 30 minutes of taking delivery of the car. I really like the way they look. I gave the stock 348 rims away to a member on here.
