OK. I confess. I almost bought a Ferrari. Pics below, pouring rain outside so crappy inside pics. A tremendous THANK YOU to Dave M for the wonderful job he did restoring this car (for me ). Also, thanks to a first class transporter, Applewood Motorcar who delivered the car to my door from Algar in Philly: http://applewoodmotorcar.com/ Now....for that 330GTC....... What. No pictures of the eight boxes of spare parts??? Sorry to see her go, but, at least I know she's in a good home. Dave
Congrats!! I had my first and only ride in a Dino in that car. Dave did a great job on it, and you are the perfect person to take care of it now! Congrats again! Erik
For reference, I found a couple pictures of what it looked like before I started. Dave Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Whoa! I fist thought DM had bought the same lift as Uro... Someobdy tell MSNBC, it should raise the stock market as this is absolutely a sign that the economy is robust! Congrats doc, and DM the car has found a proper home... BT
Oh my. Ran that little sucker today, what a HOOT! The sound produced a stupid smile that simply would not leave. And the burbling on decel, I LOVE carburetors! What a lovely view out the windscreen, those two arches over the tires, just lovely. Oh, you want to turn HERE? Then just tweek the wheel! And the smell.... the gas and oil and leather and what ever that old car smell is in old European cars...oh me... Too fun.... Can there be any better experience than driving a Dino?
CONGRATULATIONS!!!! I've been on F-Chat for years. If anyone on here deserves it, you do. Drive her in good health!
Yep. Driving a Dino for five years, deciding it's time for it to get a new home, and it gets one where it is truly appreciated. Now go man, go!! DM
I have a short list of cars I'd like to own one day. Dino coupe is on the short list, and this particular one I trusted to be "as represented" so the hammer dropped. Dang I love this car.
