    By that, I mean does the factory realy care about non-racing Ferrari owners? I know that the factory embraces the money the Tifosi spends on trinkets and street car sales fuels the racing program. But does the factory market the street cars and license the logo strcitly to keep the racing fires burning? And does the factory see non-racing owners as something to tolerate while draining their wallets.

    That view was how Enzo saw it. I think by now it is the other way around: Ferrari's first purpose is to build and sell road cars. The racing department is here to do the marketing. Only.
