Yeah I know I did get an outlandish embroidered black shirt at the same Time Ran out of time on the Belt Buckle maybe next trip
Hopefully a Scully shirt or maybe a Panhandle Slim..... Don't get a buckle set until we meet up and we'll shop at Max Lang, here in Houston.......dunno if he's on the web.... I DO know Lady Valeria has a lot of his stuff! ROTFLMAO! It's my 'last minute get out of trouble QUICK' play.... He was also very helpful in moulding and recreating sterling silver reproductions of some vintage Boy Scout uniform buttons, originally steel.... Dad died before they were through, so my Lil' Sis has the troop now....she got his set.
...anyway he has really nice buckle sets, not that big 'dinner plate' stuff....... Not that there's anything WRONG with that! *flying beer bottles smashing against the wall*
But what kind of boots are they and what kind of bend did you have put in your hat? Also, the bottom back of the legs of the jeans must come within 1/4 in of the surface when you are standing. A real cowboy has the back edge of the jeans frayed a little.......... Now, about that mustache that you need to grow if you don't already have one........and the belt buckle to go with it.............Not!!! I'll answer as soon as a fix the frayed rear edge of my Levis 517s....... We'll take him to The Hat Store on Richmond, they have examples of the various blocking patterns....... You know strangely I have NOT ever been to Luckenbach!! But I DO have the Jerry Jeff Walker album on vinyl, and as Waylon Jennings noted...strongly believe in "guitars tuned good, and firm feeling women"......
awwwwww.. BigTex!!!! never been to Luckenbach??!?!? you need to take one of those F cars you have and make a road trip.. go stay in Fredricksburg and then go into Luckenbach and tear it up one day/night! and yes... guitars that tune good and firm feelin women!

As for the curve in the brim havent had one put in on this one as there seemed two schools of thought the guys I did see wearing them (suits like me) didnt appear to have one, I guess its only the ranchers that do this?? on my next trip I will seek your advice as to the correct curve on the brim on the next hat. will take some pics of the shirt and upload them it is truly outrageous Not sure when I will next be over but will post up in good time meet, will be going to Sema in vegas if any of you guys are going to that this year? Cheers Tom
Jim, I've been helping Willis and Alison Ramsey with fundraising to get his new cd out the door in the next few months. Lyle has already recorded one of the songs, and Clapton another one. Just cannnot pry it away from the artists hands yet. phil
Will do had a good look at the hat and it has a standard curve in it which I imagine is normal not the extreme one like the white example or in some of the westerns I have seen going to photograph the rig tommorrow and post the pics up so you can give me your opinions Cheers Tom
There's lots of blocking styles actually, better do some research and decide if your are a "bullrider" or more of a "open road"....... Then let an experienced guy work on it with the steam.. I've been to Fredericksburg to climb the Rock, and slept Saturday night in Dripping Springs.......I'm still looking for whoever bought those rounds of shots at the Broken Spoke, though....I thought they were my FRIENDS!!! LOL!
