    The short version - no, the listers in general would not buy a car from them.

    As you can see, not highly recommended - for the reasons set forth therein.

    They are OK to deal with - when I dealt with them in the past. And they were always good for that occasional customer with credit issues (not that anyone is giving THAT borrower any financing today). However, their reputation with regard to the cars on their floor speaks for itself.

    I would follow Tex's advice. Call Martin. Just don't tell him you plan on drawing on your car with a Sharpie.
