I acquired a 360 modena last week and went out for a drive today afterwork to cool off. While sitting in minor traffic, I heard, "hey boss!", "hey BOSS!". I look over to my right and there's another cager next to me showing me his seat belt pad.

It had "Ferrari" emblazoned on it.

He looked at me with enthusiasm and I smiled and nodded. As I drove off I thought, what strange behavior that was! However, after I pulled into the garage at home, I reflected and said to myself, you lucky ass for owning such a beautiful piece of art, that man probably has more passion for Ferraris than you!

Anyway, hi guys, I wished I gave that man more than just a smile.

Welcome aboard. You will find that you get all sorts of reactions from people. Almost all of them will be pleasant, but on rare occasion, you may encounter mean-spirited folks.

    Enjoy the ride and experience.

You can make many more opportunities for yourself to share automotive camaraderie by acknowledging others in interesting cars (doesn't have to be a Ferrari) with a wave or a thumbs up when in your 360. I got many rather surprised, but positive, responses back when doing that from my ex-TR. We aren't enemies -- we are brethren! Corvettes, low-riders, classics, any exotic, etc.. When you see a person in a 1966 Pontiac Bonneville, or a 1947 Ford Pick-up restomod, you can be pretty sure that they are a fellow automotive enthusiast. ;)
