What is with Ferrari Dealers and their atrocious skills at handling email? The interface and follow up is superior from a VW dealer. Even when I had a 10,000 deposit sitting on a car, I couldn't get a response back. I would call and the salesman would say, "Yes, I got your email." But he never wrote back.

It is not as though these guys are busy. Have you ever walked into a Ferrari dealer at 2 in the afternoon? It's as dead as a school on a snow day.

Perhaps, there is an assumption that you aren't serious if you email your initial inquiry and document requests. Either way, it is frustrating and when I do call, they largely are never prepared to answer the questions without research anyway. How hard is it to know your used inventory when you have fewer than 10 cars?

    Just bizarre.

I had a similar unfortunate experience with the parts department of the FOH...

Welcome to the world of Ferrari customer service. It only gets worse from here!

If the cars weren't so much fun, it wouldn't be worth it.

The experience gets better as long as you stay away from the dealer network.

I have the exact opposite situation. If I don't email my dealer every so often, he emails me.

I really think it depends on the dealer. I've only had great service and response from the two I've dealt with.

I really do think it depends on the dealer and salesperson you are dealing with.
I have made many inquiries lately to Ferrari & non Ferrari dealers for various 575's and have always had email dialogue.

I also have to say that I do introduce myself by telephone conversation to put a voice to the person that I may be dealing with.
