I'm one of those who typically forgets, but I find I need to manage my Mrs's expectations for occasions. I get jewelry, she expects jewelry. I typically forget...she's happy I remember to buy a card.

I got a card already, so I'm ahead of the game this year. But thanks for reminding me to do something!

 

My wife told me since V day is on a Sunday, I can bypass the obligatory delivery of roses.

She's up to something.

I'm going to buy and bring home on Saturday to cover my bases.

 

Smart man. When they tell you don't worry about it, it's because they took care of something on their own.

 

I asked my wife what she wanted for Valentines Day this year instead of the usual roses, etc. So she suggested that I get her a nice wrist watch instead.

I told her that there was absolutely no need for a watch as we have a clock right there on the stove exactly where she should be right now..... cooking my dinner.....

 

Good girls get respect....
