Ah, you have a common misconception, that there is some central "Islam" that covers everyone, like the pope for catholics. That link is an index of the fatwas of that particular Mullah. Every Mullah is free to issue his own fatwas, so while the website is "Islam Today" and that's the "fatwa index," it's only for that one mullah.

Now while I don't personally keep up with every mullah's fatwas, I do know that they vary widely and are sometimes even contradictory. I also know that behavior that would be considered abuse in Western society is allowable under Sharia (Islamic) law even here in the very progressive UAE. For example I am allowed to beat my wife to "instruct" her, so long as I use a stick no thicker than my thumb.

Heres something you wouldnt think would happen in Iran, after Khomeni legalised "sex changes", Iran became the Number ONE country in the world for Sex Change operations. What I get in reading just a couple of pages is that sex with animals is not condoned, just that the abuser is not directly punished. Though there's plenty about what's done to the unfortunate animal. However, the abuser is responsible to the owner for the cost of the abused animal that is put to death. Presumably if the owner of the animal is themselves, they suffer the financial loss.

Also it does not say babies can be sodomized, as it forbids penetration. However, the involvement of babies in sex acts even w/o penetration is disturbing. Hopefully this is out of context or there are additional statements clarifying or restricting this.
