Dane, thanks you for the compliment and agree with you my friend. The $1000 or so to pound them in and repaint the fenders could be better spent on speed tweaks/weight loss effort. The 308 is, frankly, underpowered/TQ and i highly doubt the aero loss due to the shields sticking out will even be noticeable. But spending $1000 to lose 15 lbs up front for a better radiator and losing another 40 lbs or so to yank the AC out of the car.... that WILL be noticeable
That's the one, Dr. B.!!!!!!!! LOL! Thanks for that shot! I'm having them made for both my cars, based upon a flat cloisone badge from Black Bart's.......... It's only right to credit Mr. Chinetti, for his role in bringing these cars to America! The shields are only for ITALIAN Ferraris!!!
Mine are not the Yoshi type but are as good. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I'm glad someone else does these sorts of calculations! I rem one day I was clipping the ends off of cable ties (zip ties) in my engine bay, and my father asked what I was doing. Holding up a short piece of plastic I replied: "My car is now lighter, and therefore faster!" If it makes you feel better, the badges actually provide a small amount of added aero downforce and improve the weight disribution as well. Net gain!
