ferrari hit a homerun with the new F12.
i started writing a book on how good my test F12 drive was, how comfortable the car was, how, ......etc.
but u guys would all go out and buy one or fall asleep.

so let me be short and sweet and give u the negatives :

    1. too much body roll compared to the 458.

    2. not enough buttons to push or special features inside the car compared to past V12s.
My 458 feels much more special to be inside, maybe its the all black interior that dogs it. My test car didnt have the passenger display or maybe i didnt know how to turn it on, it would be fun to have.
my 612 have a adjustable glass roof, my 599 have a completely different and more expensive looking interior than the 430 or the 458, but this black interior F12 looks really boring with nothing to play with, especially when u have a 458.

i would never believe i can control 740hp with ESC off and laughing and grinning ear to ear or shocked at how much more comfortable it is compared to my most comfortable sports car, the 458........ before the drive today.

Quite frankly, the technolgy surpassed any known rival. It makes my drives in the aventador feel ancient, frustrating, and non-rewarding.

if u are shopping for the latest and greatest and cant get a laferrari, slap on some harder novitec springs on a F12, and u have a clear winner, period.

I went out in a 458 spider Monday and actually find driving my FF more thrilling than the 458 spider. A lot of it has to do with the sweet sound and excess power of a V12.

funny I feel my drive in the f12 and ff are very similar, although the f12 just have more of everything, more speed, more sound, more lively, more fun. The ff does feel heavier with more mass and the 4wd to move around. ff feels more controlled of course but i love the lunacy of the f12 but a more controlled hooliganess than the old 599. the 599 was too powerful for its own good, but the f12 is almost perfect.
Both have this electric endless rush of power feeling that have to be experienced to understand and I keep trying to side step the rears with esc off just for kicks.

I have to say neither is as much fun as my 458s in full attack mode, but I have yet to go beyond 200kmh where I believe the v12s will start to kick a$$, but I don't do hi ways.
Or maybe I just need one.

I would agree that the 458 makes sense for thrashing ... and possibly the right car for a race track rather than taking my FF or future F12. Just no V12 sound!:D
