I'm watching this film "Brothers Bloom" (quirky film) where Rachael Weisz has crashed a yellow Lambo Murcielago multiple times (curious if real, VFX, or hybrid). Rock wall, tree, fence, etc.

She crashes, and before the scene is over, a flatbed with a new one shows up (she's really rich). Had to do a search in Lambochat to see if film had been discussed but apparently not. Funny film, Lambo gets a lot of screen time.

Surely you're joking......a real Murci......c'mon! Do you really think they may have trashed one?

Doesn't look like any damage done to the car driving into styrofoam...

That's just in the trailer - I mentioned all the other objects and events that happen (you have to see the movie)

Here is something I have always pondered, lets say the director owns the Merci. He has been wanting to sell the car so he sells it to the 'movie' to get rid of it so he can buy a new one. Does that happen? I know nothing about how movies are made or financed.

There were 3 Murcielagos in The Dark Knight, one of which was smashed up. So yes, it can and does happen.

BTW - my post wasn't to trigger false assumptions that a Murci had been wrecked. It was just "interesting" to see in the movie that this woman crashes the car a half dozen times (to have a new one because she's wealthy whisked to here almost immediately in the same color).

In the movie "Red Line" the director had his own Carrera GT smashed to bits off of a cliff in hopes that it would get the movie more publicity. The movie and "racing" was terrible but the cars were nice to look at.

Wasn't that the move where Eddie Griffin crashed an Enzo during a charity event promotion?! LOL

Yes it was a real Murcielago. Lamborghini supplied 3 cars and one was trashed. Do a search if you don't believe me!
