Door Airbag blew after hitting pothole in SF - Door Panel Replacement Options?

    About 2 months ago hit a pothole in SF and the driver side curtain bag blows and the seatbelt gets locked.

    I sent the seatbelt into myairbags and they rebuilt the seatbelt for ~$118, so now it retracts

    I found a vendor in Sacramento who can rebuild the door panel for $700 but it doesn't have the airbag/srs stamp on the leather.

    Any other ideas? Really don't want to spend $5600 for a new door panel from the dealer.

    Suggestions welcome.


    Ferrari of SF unwilling to help at all.

    Man- not sure if this is the type of thing I would want to cut corners on. Seat belts, air bags- personally I'd make sure it's done right.

    Must have been some pothole! Sure no other damage done? Where in SF was it? Want to avoid that!

    For a replacement panel, have you tried Exotic Car Recycling?
