    I had a small linkage break on the passenger door leaving the outside handle non-functional... :( Anyone know a source or a substitute part that will work? It's part #46 on the drawing.

    In my experience with this: If this is the pot metat part, you can braze it with a Benzene torch and rod..or you can, with some success, use J-B Weld(original one) letting it cure overnight..as you know it is epoxy with a high metal modulus...If it is plastic..also J-B Weld. Also, this mechanism was a Fiat and Alfa part.


    the real true key to successful operation on our door locks is to clean them and keep them properly lubed from the key slot to your breaking point. I hope that this is of some help. Jacques
