    There are 4 holes on the drivers side (LHD) door jamb that appear to be where a plaque might have been mounted. What if anything was mounted there?

    Assuming that your car is a US Dino, it is the manufacturers rating plate. It contains the date of manufacture, Gross Vehicle Weight Ratings, and so on. If I remember correctly, it even has a little prancing horse on it, the only one on a Dino.
    I am not by my car right now (there is an ocean in between), so I can not provide a photo of the plate. Hope somebody else can.
