Help!! The door latch got jammed closed when the door was open on my 512 TR so I can't close the door now. I tried but can't open the latch to close the door. Is there a trick to this?? Thanks
I tried putting the screwdriver in different spots. No luck. Any more guidance?? Where should I put the screwdriver? Thanks
Dear Ferraristi, If the latch is the same as on my 91 Testarossa.... you will see in the lower right corner ( when viewing straight on ) a hammer- like shape. It is probably in the closed position. ( No open " C " to the inside of the latch) You can pull the " hammer " down with your fingers. It almost has a little ear that you can pull down thus opening the latch. I hope this helps. thanks, I did it. I figured out I have to hold/lift the door handle to disengage the lock, before pulling the latch down.
