Anyone know where i might find the procedure for removing a 599 door pad and trim? I dont want to fumble around and damage something! Dealer estimates 2.5 hour job to remove and refit!! I believe it is not easy!

Not a bad time estimate. I used to spend 3 - 4 hours removing and replacing the door panel on my 550. Just looked at the Ricambi site to see if the drawings are detailed enough for the 599 door and it's not very evident. On my 599, the only part that looks complicated on the door is the airbag -- not sure what to do with that. Typically door panels are removed with either hidden screws or panel fasteners, which are removed with a special tool you can purchase from any place like AutoZone. Let us know what you learn.

If removing airbags (Most if not all have plugs), be sure to turn off battery switch or disconnect battery and do not turn it back on until airbag is plugged in again. On a 355, disconnection of an airbag under power will cause an alarm only reset by an SD
