I have been told of a trick to put a small plastic tube up inside the rubber door seal to help it keep shape so preventing leaks ,has anyone tried it & does it work ?

Keeping mine garaged with the windows down and rubbing rubber-care gel into the seals has certainly improved things, but the odd little drop still get in from time to time in heavy rain on the move.

If you really want to make the roof seal absolutely tight I'd suggest taking your car to a convertible roof specialist who will make sure that the adjustment is spot on.

But I quote from the 355 manual "...the sealing...cannot be guaranteed in all utilzation conditions. It's clear that small infiltrations in some areas can be considered normal."

Wally, I see your car has not been delivered yet- when it is, and you hear 'that howl' a few times, you won't care about the odd little leak...!

    Robert.
