    My 328 gets a squeek in the driver's door every few months. When I use a bit of WD-40 it goes away temporarily. Any better ways to deal with this? I tried a search with no luck.

    The door hinges have grease fittings, and it helps to put a little grease on the bar that stops it from opening too far.

    I have used "super lube" teflon grease by Permatex on the latch. Use regular grease on the grease fittings on the hinges. A tad bit more super lube on the check strap.

    Do that and you will be good for a long time.

    Oh, and treat the door seals with BMW gummifledge.
