    These do not come cheap! Wonder if this part is used also on other vehicles (if anyone knows)?

    Tx already told me he had the part. I'm not paying 400 for that. I will live with the poping noise till a cheap one comes up or I find one

    Mine used to do this due to part number 8 being worn and eventually working its way out so the door swung all the way open and sustained damage.

    There's a guy on ebay that is parting out a Mondial 8.

    I've bought a couple of door items (strikers) and seat belts from him.

    He's reasonably negotiable, and the items were exactly as described.

    I'm not sure what a door stop is, but here's a link to one of his items. He's also got a bunch of other Mondial 8 parts.

    DOOR LATCH REPAIR Mondial....in the Sticky : Mondial 8/QV/3.2/t Repair thread...
    you can use Fiat part : that spare part came from Fiat Punto (4 doors/front door) and costs about 15 euro each.
    You have to change Ferrari latch for the Fiat latch....spring mecanisme swap.

    I did....just swap the latch....
